I paint on walls too.

Welcome to Herondo Avenue. If you’re from the South Bay then you know the spot - both because it’s the street that divides Hermosa and Redondo Beach and because of the dozens of murals that local artists have painted on the south side of the avenue. I was so excited to get the invite to put my mark on the walls, but what I didn’t expect was the love burst I’d get from the community in return. The coffee drinking speed walkers who stopped to chat, the horn honkers, the shouting-out-the-car-window daily commuters. They were all RAD. Connection is life. Community is breath. Thank-you, Hermosa, for the reminder.

The panther + The Pura Vida:

If you’ve ever been to Costa Rica then you know Pura Vida well. It’s the good life. It means take it easy, move slow, no worries, it’s all good. Pura Vida is the reason our family fell in love with Costa, the reason we bought land there, built a home, made a life, and formed a community of friends who became family. Pura Vida is the recipe for a long life. You can’t honk at the car in front of you if you’re in the Pura Vida vibe, or give someone the finger, or troll someone online. Pura Vida is all love. So here she is, the Pura Vida panther love bomb. Our reminder to live slow, take one day at a time, look one another in the eye, and spread love with our whole entire hearts.
