Heart Side Out

This first large scale piece in the flower bomb series is close to my heart. A wild and untamed tangle of brushstrokes - the culmination of a body of work that’s pressed the boundaries of abstraction of line and form. Heart shaped leaves, heart-inspired pinks, peaches and magentas, and then of course my own journey of the heart … here on the canvas in large scale. Big, bold, and joyful, this piece is a celebration. A bouquet for you and I both to share, forever … to remind us to live life heart-side out.

This piece is part of the Flower Bombs series. Each work is painted from life using expressive, open brushstrokes. Anjalé’s intention in this series is to capture the energy and flow of the florals through gesture and color, turning off the mind during the painting process and allowing the eye and heart to move the hand.

Framed cold press prints are matted and framed in sold wood. Gallery wrapped canvases are framed in solid wood floater frames.
