Soul Snips

Clips and cuttings of the soul, right here on canvas, laid down with paint, brushstroke by intuitive brushstroke. This bloom, that leaf, the way the light shines here, the shadow there. This piece is our reminder that we all carry choice as to which stories and beliefs we will carry through our days. This piece is part of the Flower Bombs series. Each work is painted from life using expressive, open brushstrokes. Anjalé’s intention in this series is to capture the energy and flow of the florals through gesture and color, turning off the mind during the painting process and allowing the eye and heart to move the hand.
