This is Everything

A throwback to times past. Candles at dusk, fireplaces, lowlight and maybe not everything meant to be seen all at once. And yet, in its darkness - its mystery - there is so much to be seen here. Abundance, contrast, life overflowing. And so, this painting truly is everything. The dark and the light, the shadow and the sunshine. We find it easy to embrace these truths here, on this canvas, and that’s a really good step toward recognizing the same within ourselves.

This piece is part of the “Flower Bombs” series. Each work in this series is painted from life using expressive, open brushstrokes. Anjalé’s intention in this series is to capture the energy and flow of the florals through gesture and color, turning off the mind during the painting process and allowing the eye and heart to move the hand directly.
